First and foremost, we would love to see you at one of our performances, which is the best way to support our company and arts in general. To remain informed of present and upcoming productions: like our Facebook page or join our newsletter:
If you have attended one of our performances and enjoyed it, share your impressions with friends, colleagues and on your social media! While word of mouth is still the most reliable way of attracting larger audiences, a picture or comment shared through your Facebook, Instagram or Twitter greatly increases our visibility. Don't forget to tag us using the hashtag #OWTnepal, you might figure in our screenshots of fans or even win something!
Don't just want to be a spectator but you are interested in standing in the spotlight? Auditions for aspiring actors for our productions are also published through our Facebook and this website. These are open for Nepali and expats, often require good English, but not necessarily a lot of acting experience, as we try to mix professional actors with beginners in our productions.
Friends of One World Theatre
For nearly a decade now, OWT has been transforming the way theatre is made and inspiring audiences through our groundbreaking work. Generous and devoted people like you have helped us raise the voices of Oscar Wilde, Judy Shephard, Anton Chekov, Tony Kushner, and scores more on stages across Nepal and India.
OWT is in the midst of the most productive time in our history, with our ten year anniversary in 2021 and a visionary expansion of our education initiatives. Our reach is extending farther than ever before. We need your help to keep the momentum going.
Being a Friend of OWT means standing shoulder to shoulder with our artists to create groundbreaking new theatre that is revolutionizing not only what populates our stages but also how productions are forged. It means supporting work that asks the kind of questions and fosters the conversations that are vitally important right now.
To become a friend of OWT, make a monthly donation of 10USD. The breadth of work that your gift can support is truly remarkable. From social justice issues plays to the next generation of Nepali theatre artists, your impact is meaningful at every level.
