THE FLIGHT

Co-Production with Solis Performing Arts
This creation is a way for the famed choreographer to cope with some of the issues in the world. Through dance and movement, the abstract choreography becomes textured with knotted braids and waves of movement. Following the inner journey of three young Nepali girls who are victims of sex trafficking, the choreography is given human variety with small, vernacular gestures that speak to their desperation, determination and dignity.
