This powerful and lyrical folk drama about the yearning of a young peasant woman to have a child, featured flamenco dance, composed music, created masks and authentic props from Western Nepal. The story strongly relates to the fate of childless women in the villages of Nepal and is thematically related to the preceding McCraney production.
